You can see that a three-band radio with a width of only 10,5 cm was already possible in 1963, although the Japanese competitors like Sony, National and Toshiba were the true miniaturization avant-garde. Nevertheless, compared to the L2X80B, with it's width and height of approx. 25 and 20 cm, the reduction in size is rather dramatic.
